What is Eastside Central?

Located on the “50-yard-line” of the Central Eastside Industrial District (CEID), Burns Bros.’s “Eastside Central” project at the intersection of SE MLK/Grand/Washington/Alder Streets is poised to make dramatic impact. The CEID is home to more than 2,000 businesses and 20,000 jobs, and is active 24/7.

GBD Architects was hired by Burns Bros/ to complete an architectural and massing study for two full blocks located in the heart of the CEID. The plan calls for the construction of the 15-story buildings with nearly 960,000 total square feet. There will be leaseable area for the two towers of nearly 640,000 total square feet. On the four underground parking floors under each tower, there will be 660 parking spaces, plus parking for hundreds of bicycles.

Both buildings are located in the Opportunity Zone, and are adjacent to the streetcar and bus lines. Block 83 has an unobstructed view of the West Hills and Block 100 has an unobstructed view of Mount Hood.
